What to Expect


  1. Consultation:  We are pleased to offer all prospective clients an hour of our time without cost or obligation.  This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions you would like and explain what you are looking for in a financial advisor.  We will share with you what we do for all of our clients and together we will determine if there is synergy.  We will also disclose our compensation schedule, depending on what you hire us to help you with.
  2. Date Questionnaire Meeting:  After data gathering, we will meet and spend time going through the data questionnaire with you, to learn as much as possible about your current financial and estate situation.  After this meeting, we will prepare a customized proprietary one page model of your present situation, which will be the foundation of the planning process.
  3. Present Your Model:  We will meet, show you your current financial model, verify that the information is accurate and that we understand your concerns and goals.  After your confirmation, we will begin our macro economic based planning process.  Clients tell us that this meeting covers items that have never been mentioned to them, which leaves them motivated for future planning meetings.
  4. Additional Planning Meetings:  The number of planning meetings will be determined by each client's situation and complexity.
  5. Client Reviews:  After the initial planning process, we meet with clients face to face a minimum of twice a year.  If necessary, or if clients request more frequent reviews, we are pleased to oblige at no additional cost.  In addition to face to face meetings, we communicate with clients via newsletters, phone calls, etc. approximately twenty times a year.
